BV 7.2 - Custom Report - Adding Unit of Measure Field

I just updated to ver 7.2 and have 'verified' my custom reports according to the instructions in the readme included in the update.  My problem is that on my packing slips, I had added a field to calculate the weight of the shipment, simply the weight of the product multiplied by the quantity shipped (and totaled at the bottom).

My field no longer works in 7.2, because the field I used was 'inventory.weight' and it appears this is now sent in a different database, the 'unit of measure' database.  I am having trouble trying to find this database, in order to get this field.  If I go to add the database from the field.ddf, it's not located in there.

I also tried going to the standard packing slip report, and was going to rearrange it again to fit my packing slips, but it doesn't pass the 'weight' field into the report either.

Can anyone tell me how to pass this field into the report (i.e. how to get this table in the Report Designer?)?

I apologize that my knowledge in this field is very limited, and I usually manage to just move things around in the Report Designer, without having to add databases.

    Thank you for your time,

    Laurie

Re: BV 7.2 - Custom Report - Adding Unit of Measure Field

     UPDATE

Finally figured it out - in case anyone looks this up in the future:

Was trying to link to the database files in my data folder; by opening the database through:

Database Expert -> Create New Connection -> Btrieve     and then using the field.ddf that's located (for me) in c:\businessvision\reports\report_designer\field.ddf

I was able to find the Unit of Measure table and link the order details part code to the part number in Unit of Measure and it worked!

This is probably 2nd hand for most people out there, and I'm finding hard to believe that I've wasted the better part of an afternoon on it myself!
